John E. Swift, M.D. has been a professor at the University of Miami Medical College and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute for almost 45 years. Dr. Swift is loved by his students and patients. Seeing patients at Florida Optical Services in Fort Myers and his office in Miami has allowed many patients to experience quality care like none other. After more than 45 years of practice, Dr. Swift has decided to take a much-deserved retirement. His patients can continue to see us for eye exams. While we focus on primary eye care, we have made several working relations with several other ophthalmologists to provide expedited care to our patients. Dr. Mandelkorn received his Ophthalmology Fellowship at OCHSNER HOSPITAL in New Orleans, Louisiana.
